Further believers who want to support the Project may click on the "Donate" button at touchmods.net. Thnx.
Nice weekend to everyone. Mails will be not answered during the next days.

1 - By taking it seriously I take it you mean by donating money?

I do appreciate all the hard work you are doing Marian, as well as the other devs. I have been rallying behind you the whole way.

I was finally able to donate some money today, unfortunately it wasn't much though... I am a college student moving into a new house (moving expenses) and in between semesters... meaning money is really tight.

I hope that my contribution helped though, and as I offered in the other post; being a programmer, I would love to be able to help with the porting.

Again, I appreciate everything you are doing for the cause.

Thanks (Comment this)

2 - Thanks, darkone, we appreciate it a lot! Hope Eok or Samuel will contact you. We need an Objective-C programmer for the GUI very soon. Cheers! (Comment this)

3 - Hi guys,

I just wanted to show a little bit more of my continued support.

Although I am not a programmer or developer, I stand behind you all 100%. What you have brought to the community is nothing more than sheer genius. I hope this little bit can help you guys towards furthering your development.

Happy Holidays to you and your team!! (Comment this)

5 - Hi guys at the dev center :P, Im a bit of a silent observer of this project.. and im bloody impressed myself. I am looking to donate an amount of money but as im a student, i have no way of donating as of now.. but give me three days and ill have me little sum of money, a good three hours of cleaning the toilets at maccas should do :P. Im very interested in helping this project in any way that I can... but I am no expert in hardware AT ALL>... If i get the parts i can just do EXACTLY as the instructions and make mics, but i dont know if that would be any help to you... please email me if there is anything I can do to help...
Also, the price of the mics, Its unclear to me... is it 30 pounds?

6 - If you head over to http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14735
at hackint0sh you can see the number of people who were willing to donate for VOIP on Iphone.

Using the polls as a very rough estimate into what people are willing to donate

100x6 600
50x11 550
20x31 620
5x43 215

Total = $1985 has been pledged. If you could post over there and make a definite statement into whether this would work on Iphone, you might not get $1985, but Ill imagine you'll get at least some donations that you didn't have before. (Comment this)

7 - I keep forgetting to send this to the blog:

THE MICS ARE NOT SENSITIVE ENOUGH WITH VNotes, AS YOU WOULD EXPECT. But we have a command line executable for the Touch (and you will have it soon) that is much more sensitive. IT IS A SW ISSUE!!!

It would be not a problem to make the DIY version more sensitive, but since the SMD ones are not regulable, we were trying to set them to the same level.

BTW; If you feel sthng is wrong with your self-built Mic, you could still measure the voltage between the GND and the top of Your mic, it should be above 1.5 V!!!
Otherwice the R feeding the Mic is too big, and does not feed the Mic properly. Then just reduce it. (You can go down from 6k8 till roughly 2k)

Hope, It is not late and people still did not smash too many DIY constructions...

9 - For those who doesn't think this is real. :) Anyways, I was not with this project from the very beginning, but I somehow trust Marian. Everything went smooth with me...I ordered one and transfer money on Monday, the next Monday on 17th the postal was sent (as claimed by Marian) and soon on Friday I got my MINI FINE MIC! yap. I haven't tested this out, because I will get my ipod touch on the 30th. Thanks for all your efforts!
